JUNE 2016

THE WONDROUS, You give and get a helping hand,
WONDROUS PERRY PARK There is plenty of land,
                                           To make it be grand,
There’s a place in the middle of nowhere, At the wondrous, wondrous Perry Park.
With a rustic country flair,
Where a bear may give you a scare. Stop by for the people, for they are sweet,
Stop by for the scenery, it can’t be beat.
A place with spark, Stop by to hear the precious birds tweet,
A place to embark, At the wondrous, wondrous Perry Park.
Is the wondrous, wondrous, Perry Park.
No one knows where this place is located or
When everyone comes together, found,
And the farms are better than ever, No one will know, if you ask around.
Despite the ever-changing weather, If you come, there’s no city sound.
Is the wondrous, wondrous Perry Park. Why, it’s the wondrous, wondrous Perry
                                           Park.
Some come to see the rocks,
That are as red as the wings of a hawk. By Carissa O’Donnell, Age 13
You may see a cat, a deer or a fox.
At the wondrous, wondrous Perry Park. She just finished the 7th grade at Lewis
                                           Palmer Middle School.
Everyone is close to one another,
You treat everyone like a brother,
But you know one from the other,
At the wondrous, wondrous Perry Park.
