THE SIGHTS OF SUMMER...
Sumer is Icumen in,
Loud sing, cuckoo!
Grows the seed and blows the mead,
And springs the wood anew;
Sing, cuckoo!
~An old English ballad
It’s summer! Finally! There are certain advantages to a place where it snows heavily in April and
May—when other parts of the country think it’s spring. No one is more joyful when June arrives
than Coloradans.
June in Colorado is just flat out glorious, isn’t it? So to celebrate, this issue is full of pictures cel-
ebrating summer in the Larkspur communities. These are the joys in the small corner of the world
we live in. Look for the sun logos—and rejoice.
