• Keep garage, storage shed, and vehicle doors and windows
closed and locked when you are not occupying them.
• Bring all bird feeders inside by dusk each day. Observe the
Clint Eastwood movie “Hang Em High” rule: Hang all feeders
at least 8 feet up from the ground and 8 feet out from any climb-
able objects. Remember: just because you can’t climb it doesn’t
mean we can’t.
• Don’t leave ground level house doors and windows open when
you are absent. Door and window screens may keep insects out,
but we laugh at such a sally.
